(December 16, 2025) – Tyax Adventures is excited to share that our operation is now part of the Whitecap family, following Whitecap’s acquisition of Blackcomb Helicopters’ Tourism Division. This milestone represents a thoughtful evolution for Tyax Adventures, one that honours our long-standing legacy while positioning us for a strong and sustainable future.
Nestled in the heart of the South Chilcotin Mountains, Tyax Adventures has built its reputation on exceptional summer hut-to-hut style mountain biking, hiking, floatplane-accessed wilderness, and winter cabin-based backcountry experiences, all rooted in connection to place. Joining Whitecap Alpine Adventures brings together two organizations with a shared commitment to safety, professional guiding, mountain culture, and responsible adventure travel.
